Rosemary Hard Cheese
A sweet, buttery cheese that is a firm, aromatic goat cheese that’s pressed with rosemary. Later the dried wheels are rubbed and generously coated with oil and rosemary for a more intense experience. The final cheese has a pleasant herbed fragrance that complements the sweet, white paste. The herb-crust makes for a striking presentation on any the charcuterie board, and the lovely smooth flavor and texture matches nicely with other cheeses.
A young cheese is aged for 2 weeks and made with pasteurized goat's milk. Aged cheeses are made with raw goat's milk and aged for a minimum of 60 days.
Each wheel is hand cut and packaged in approximately 8 oz (227 grams) serving sizes.
Ingredients: Pasteurized goat's milk, salt, rennet, cheese cultures. On rind (inedible): rosemary, olive oil blend.
Pre Orders
Like a fine wine, cheese requires aging to reach it's optimal flavor profile. Young cheeses can be aged for as little as 2 weeks. Others require over 60 days of aging to reach the desired flavor. Please specify young or aged cheese when ordering. Young cheeses will be shipped after a minimum of 2 weeks aging time. Aged cheeses will ship after a minimum of 60 days aging.
